Thoughts and Comments
- Many of the Majors are correlated in their price movement.
USD on the same side of the pair tend to move similar to one another (ex: EURUSD and GBPUSD).
USD on opposite sides of the pair tend to move opposite each other (ex: EURUSD and USDCHF).
Be careful trading two at once, since this could equate to doubling your risk!
- Half of Forex trading volume comes from EURUSD, USDJPY, and GBPUSD, so these are very liquid.
- Popular crosses: AUDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPY, and NZDJPY
- Exotics are much less liquid than the Majors and the Crosses, so be careful or avoid completely.
- Suggested watch list:
Mastering one at a time and shortening your list to your favorite 1-5 pairs is recommended.
